November Christmas is a heartwarming family drama film that follows the story of a small-town farmer named Jess Sanford (played by Sam Elliott). After losing his son to an illness many years ago, Jess has isolated himself from the world and rarely interacts with anyone outside of his farm. However, he begins to slowly come out of his shell after a chance encounter with a young father named Tom (played by John Corbett).

Tom's daughter, Vanessa (played by Emily Alyn Lind), has been diagnosed with a serious illness and is not expected to make it to Christmas. In an attempt to make Vanessa's last few months as joyful as possible, Tom plans to celebrate Christmas early in August by decorating their home with pumpkins instead of traditional Christmas decorations. When he asks Jess for pumpkins, Jess initially refuses, thinking it's an odd request. However, he eventually changes his mind when he learns about Vanessa's illness and decides to help Tom and his family in any way he can.

As the town learns about Vanessa's condition, they rally together to create a special "November Christmas" celebration for her. Jess, who has been closed off from the world for so long, slowly begins to open up and form new relationships with the people in his community. He also learns to let go of his grief and find hope and joy in the midst of tragedy.

November Christmas is a poignant and uplifting film that emphasizes the importance of love, community, and the true spirit of Christmas. It originally premiered on CBS in 2010.
